Jim Sarbh denies mentioning Ranveer Singh in his latest comment: Find this almost absurd to have to clarify

Jim Sarbh needs has been a part of several projects and has always impressed the audience with his commendable performances. However, the actor recently received backlash from the netizens after his viral comment. Apparently, in an interview, he mentioned about the actors who tend to lie about going extra miles for their characters but ending up showing up at the sets without even remembering their lines.

Netizens were quick to react and assumed that the actor was referring to Ranveer Singh, who portrayed the role of Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial ‘Padmaavat’. Ranveer shared in an earlier interview that he had to isolate himself for over 20 days and go through the worst memories down the lane to bring the spirit of his character in himself. However, Jim decided to clarify the same and shared an Instagram post where he addressed the baseless backlash.

Sharing the post on Instagram, the actor explained that he has outmost respect for Ranveer and his comment was not targeting him at all. The post read, "I find this almost absurd to have to clarify, but since folks are running wild with the videos and the articles: Nothing I said refers to Ranveer Singh. The video byte being shared is from Made in Heaven season 2 promotions, 5 whole years since Padmaavat came out. 5 years." Further mentioning, "I only had lovely
things to say about Ranveer as a co-actor- look it up.
I still do. Also: it is not an attack on process. I love process, and I love actors. The video is making fun of actors who exaggerate their process. I'm sure you've all met people who talk about their work more than do their work. Can't wait for the next article or video shooting off my shoulder."

He captioned the post, "I usually don't respond to speculative videos and articles because they're boring and I assume people know better. Of course, just like some of you, I assumed wrong. Too many people have forwarded me things, and now
journalists/interviewers are 'identifying' me as a 'critic',
despite me never having mentioned anyone at all, let
alone @ranveersingh. @ranveersingh (kiss emoji).
'Spiders' by System of a Down."

On the work front, Jim most recently starred in ‘Made in Heaven 2’ which also featured Sobhita Dhulipala and Kalki Koechlin in the lead. The series released on August 10 last year and is streaming on Prime Video.
