Kalki 2898 AD is garnering praise across the world having released on June 27, 2024. The magnum opus is a visual spectacle delivering a cinematic experience. Apart from audience and film critics the sci-fi drama is receiving positive responses from Bollywood celebs. After Rajinikanth, Shraddha Kapoor, Nagarjuna and another new celeb to join the list is Jawan helmer Atlee. The director couldn’t resist lauding the magnificent work of Nag Ashwin. Deepika Padukone too expressed gratitude resharing Atlee’s appreciation post.

South India’s ace director Atlee took to his official Instagram account to review a dystopian flick set in the future. Caption in his story read, "Kalki was absolutely blown by Nag Ashwin. Nag Aswhin's incredible filmmaking and the high quality of the film. Hats off to you brother! And a big shoutout to producer for the amazing production value. This film is truly stunning in every aspect." He further praised the stellar cast Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan.

He wrote, "Prabhas Sir, your perfomance was amazing! Deepika Padukone Ma'am, I'm your biggest fan, your work was so good! Amitabh Bachchan Sir, you were at a god level in this film." Atlee concluded his post with these words, "Best entertainment with great visual treat is Kalki." Deepika Padukone reshared it on her Instagram story expressing gratitude with a short caption that read “Thank You”.

For the unversed Deepika Padukone and Atlee collaborated for the 2023 release blockbuster hit Jawan also starring Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. The action thriller was directed by Atlee and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment. The film made at a budget of Rs 300 crore made an impressive business of Rs 1148 crore at the box office. 

Talking about Kalki 2898 AD is a dystopian sci-fi film set in a futuristic world 6000 years after Mahabharat’s Kurukshetra war. The film stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan among the ensemble cast. Directed by Nag Ashwin the film is produced by Vijayanthi Movies.
