Kill garnered flattering responses ahead of Bollywood release

The upcoming film titled Kill is a genre-defining one-of-a-kind film in Indian cinema. The action entertainer starring Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, and Tanya Maniktala is touted to be the bloodiest, goriest, and most violent film shot in a confined train. Set to hit big screens on 5th July the action-packed flick premiered at International film festivals before the Bollywood theatrical release. The film received exceptionally flattering reactions globally. Karan Johar and Guneet Monga produced KILL premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Red Sea Film Festival, Fantastic Fest, and Tribeca Film Festival.

The response at the Canadian Film Fest has encouraged the makers to release Kill on 1,000 screens across North America after seeing the reaction and appreciation of the international audiences to the film. Kill was first premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) under TIFF’s popular Midnight Madness category. That accomplishment was a significant achievement for the film, marking it as only the second Indian film to be screened in that category. Filmmaker Anuraag Kashyap who watched the movie in Toronto said it is the Best action film he has seen coming from India ever.

Kill received a fantastic response at the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Critics familiar with Indian action films noted that it was unlike anything they had seen before. Post the official trailer release in Mumbai, the film was screened at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City, where it received great reviews drawing a comparison with the breakthrough Indonesian action blockbuster Raid.

Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, Kill is an adrenaline-pumping action entertainer starring fresh faces, Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, and Tanya Maniktala. Kill is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor, and Achin Jain under the banners of Dharma Productions and  Sikhya Entertainment, and is set to hit theaters on July 5, 2024.
