Fawad Khan created a massive fan base in India after he appeared alongside Sonam Kapoor in ‘Khoobsurat’. The actor further went on to be a part of films like Kapoor and Sons alongside Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil which starred Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. However, soon the ban on Pakistani artists was imposed post which the actor didn’t appear in any Hindi project. However, last year it was lifted and as per the latest reports, the actor will feature with Vaani Kapoor in the upcoming film.

A source in one of the entertainment websites mentioned, "Right now the pre -production of the project is locked in." The filming is reportedly to start in London. If the project happens, it will mark the actor’s return to the screens in India after almost 9 years. The actor will next feature in Pakistani series ‘Barzakh’. The drama series also stars Sanam Saeed and is directed by Asim Abbasi. It is set to stream from July 19 and is highly anticipated by the fans of the actor. 

Whereas Vaani will star alongside Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Ammy Virk, Pragya Jaiswal, and Aditya Seal in ‘Khel Khel Mein’. The film is slated to release on August 15. Before this, she starred alongside Ayushmann Khurrana in ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ which was released in 2022. The film received mixed reviews and featured the actress as a member belonging to the LGBTQ+ community. Despite this, the film was recently re-released on the occasion of Pride Month and many have turned out to the theatres to witness the film on the big screens once again.
