Shatrughan Sinha has been all over the headlines over the last few days after the news of the actors hospitalisation surfaced online. Following, there have been several reports whereas some claimed that the actor has undergone a minor surgery either mentioned about him being upset with his daughter Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding due to which he ended up getting hospitalised.

Now, the actor has finally decided to clear of the rumours and have stated that he was at the hospital for the usual routine check up and nothing else, he also mentioned about reading the surgery news which have been baseless. 

He said,"'It was just my annual routine full-body check- up. I recommend it for everyone over 60. I've been travelling for my election campaign non- stop for three months. Then right after my daughter got married. I am no longer that hot- blooded energy-driven young man who could do 3 shifts a day and still have the energy to party all night. I need to slow down.”

Further adding,  "I even read that I had a minor surgery in the hospital. Surgery ko….Khamosh! Arey bhai mujhe surgery hui aur mujhe khud ko nahi maloom.”

Earlier on June 23, his daughter Sonakshi tied the knot in an intimate wedding with her long time beau Zaheer Iqbal. The duo had an interfaith marriage which speculated that the actor might not be happy with the same. However, Shatrughan graced the occasion and was full of smiles as he witnessed the beautiful union.
