Huma Qureshi is set to headline the upcoming investigative drama titled ‘ Bayaan’ which would be produced by Shiladitya Bora , Madhu Sharma, Kunal Kumar, and Anshuman Singh. The film will be directed by Bikas Mishra, who has also penned the script for the project.

The production of the film is slated to begin this month in Rajasthan and it will also star Chandrachur Singh and Sachin Khedekar alongside the actress. 

"Roohi, a female detective, is sent to a small town in Rajasthan to probe the first case of her career as a lead investigator. She is, however, doomed to fail as her
opponent's influence runs deep within the system.  Roohi must strive to live up to her father's legacy, who is a lemand in the world of law enfereement,” reads the official logline of the project.

Prior to this, Huma starred in Saurabh Bhave’s directorial ‘Maharani’ season 3 which has received massive response from the audience. The actress who previously starred in the first two instalments once again managed to take over the screens and the third season became a successful venture.

Prior to this, Huma starred alongside Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal in comedy drama ‘Double XL’ which released in 2022. The film was also a successful project and managed to impress the audience on a large scale. The actor made her debut with ‘Gangs of Wasseypur ‘ back in 2012. Post which she has featured in several films and series and has become a renowned actress in the industry. She was recently spotted during Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding which she attended with her rumoured boyfriend.
