Vicky Kaushal is set to take over the screens with his latest film ‘Bad Newz’ also featuring Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk in the lead. After the makers released the trailer, the anticipation among the fans for the film has skyrocketed and they are sure the project will be one of the biggest comedies of the year. The trailer also had a chain of dialogues which have been loved by the audience. One of them is a funny banter between the leads Vicky and Ammy, as the characters of both the actors compete in the film. Ammy’s character tries to take off the poster featuring Katrina Kaif in it. Following Vicky arrives and says "Yahan nahin! Yahan toh meri laash se  guzarna hoga,” in the film. 

Now, the writer of the film, Tarun Dudeja spoke about the same and shared that the actor was the most excited person on the set after reading this dialogue in the script. He said, "We wanted some Vicky jokes. More than us, he laughed at this joke. He also performed the scene with utmost conviction. His dialogue delivery makes it funnier than it is.” 

‘Bad Newz’ is produced under Karan Johar’s banner Dharma Productions and the film is slated to release on July 19. It follows the story of Triptii’s character, who gets a rare condition called Heteropaternal Supeerfecundation during her pregnancy. The film directed by Anand Tiwari is Presented by Amazon Prime in association with Dharma Productions and Leo Media Collective, Leo Media Collective production.

Before this, Vicky starred in Meghna Gulzar’s directorial ‘Sam Bahadur’ which released last year. The film was a biopic of Sam Manekshaw and also starred Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra in the lead. Whereas Triptii starred in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial ‘Animal’.
