The biographical film has left behind potential movies Indian 2 headlined by Kamal Haasan and Bad Newz starring Vicky Kaushal, on positions 2 and 3 respectively. Ajay Devgn’s Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha stands on position 5th as per the list. Akshay Kumar’s Sarfira has attracted the audience with its engaging plot that draws inspiration from a real-life personality. 

Sarfira is a real story of GR Gopinath who dreamt and made affordable flying possible for the common man. The story was earlier brought to cinema in a Tamil film titled Soorarai Pottru which also won 5 National Awards.
