Akshay Kumar Receives Grand Welcome in New Delhi Ahead of Sarfira’s Nationwide Release

New Delhi witnessed a spectacular gathering on Saturday as hundreds of excited fans thronged outside PVR Plaza to catch a glimpse of Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar. The actor received a warm and enthusiastic welcome from the crowd, with all sides of the mall jam-packed by screaming fans eager to meet their favorite star.

The frenzy was fuelled by the anticipation surrounding Akshay’s latest film, Sarfira, which had its first screening in the capital city. If sources are to be believed, the film has left audiences in awe, living up to the immense hype that has been building up over the past few weeks.

The excitement for Sarfira has reached unprecedented levels, with the film’s trailer becoming the most-watched movie trailer within 24 hours of its release on YouTube. The inspiring film also cemented its status as the most anticipated film on IMDb, with users rating it as the most looked-forward-to movie of July 2024.

Sarfira tells the inspiring story of G.R. Gopinath, the visionary who made flying affordable for the common man in India. The film is directed by the acclaimed Sudha Kongara and is the official adaptation of the Tamil film Soorarai Pottru, which won five National Awards.

As the crowd outside PVR Plaza erupted in cheers for Akshay Kumar, it was clear that Sarfira has already struck a chord with the audience. Fans across the country are eagerly waiting to experience the magic of Sarfira on the big screen, and if the response in New Delhi is any indication, the film is set to soar to great heights.

Written by Sudha and Shalini Ushadevi, with dialogues by Pooja Tolani, and a G.V. Prakash Kumar musical, Sarfira is produced by Aruna Bhatia (Cape of Good Films), South superstars Suriya and Jyotika (2D Entertainment) and Vikram Malhotra (Abundantia Entertainment). Mark your calendars for July 12th as 'Sarfira' takes you on an exhilarating journey of ambition, determination, and the relentless pursuit of dreams.
