Varun Dhawan is set to collaborate with his father and a phenominal filmmaker David Dhawan for an upcoming romatic comedy. As per the latest reports, the father-so duo is set to once again join on the professional front after working on the projects like 'Judwaa 2', 'Main Tera Hero' and 'Coolie No 1'.
The films have turned into successful ventures and were praised by the audience throughout. ‘Mein Tera Hero’ was also the second film for the actor after his debut with Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra in ‘Student of the Year’. The comedy starred Ileana D’Cruz and Nargis Fakhri alongside the actor.
The shooting of the film is slated to begin on July 12 and will be an indoor shoot posty which, the makers will move across different location as per the requirement of the script. The source also mentioned that a lot of work had been put to create the required set and throughout the monsoons which makes it tough to film in the outdoor locations, the shooting will take place in the Bandra studio.
According to the source as mentioned in one of the entertainement websites, it has been quoted, “The shoot starts at Mehboob Studios in Bandra on July 12. A huge set has been erected, and over the first week, David will shoot indoor scenes with the leading man at the venue." The source further added, " The schedule has been planned in such a way that the team will film in the Bandra studio through the monsoons, after which they will move to other locations.”
Besides, the actror is currently shooting for his upcoming film 'Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari' where he will star alongside Janhvi Kapoor, marking the second collaboration with her. The film will be directed by Shashank Khaitan and is produced under the banner of Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
