The eagerly awaited sequel Stree 2 promises to reunite the beloved trio of Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana, as they tackle yet another supernatural crisis in their town, with Shraddha Kapoor joining the ensemble. Adding to the excitement, Akshay Kumar is reportedly set for a cameo in the film, although official confirmation from the makers is still pending.

A source revealed to Hindustan Times, “Yes, it’s true. Akshay has a cameo in the Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor starrer. The makers felt his comedy timing is impeccable, and his presence even for a few minutes will elevate that particular sequence.”

In addition to Akshay Kumar, audiences can look forward to a brief appearance by Varun Dhawan as Bhediya, continuing his role in Dinesh Vijan's ambitious horror comedy universe. A clip featuring Tamannaah Bhatia has also gone viral, indicating her cameo in the upcoming film.

Stree 2, directed by Amar Kaushik, will return viewers to the village of Chanderi as they confront a new horror. The film is slated for release on August 15th. Coincidentally, another comedy, Khel Khel Mein, starring Akshay Kumar alongside Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Aditya Seal, Ammy Virk, and Pragya Jaiswal, is also set to hit theaters on the same day.
