Yash Raj Films has established a Spy Universe over the years with films including Tiger, War, and Pathaan, a new addition to this is Alpha. Aditya Chopra envisioned bringing up a series of suspense thriller films, quoting Spy Universe. It starred Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, and has also roped in South Star Jr. NTR in War 2. Recently, YRF launched Alia Bhatt and Sharwari Wagh in a female-led spyverse, Alpha. This released a wave of excitement among fans, well that’s not it the new update around this will leave everyone stunned as Anil Kapoor has now come on board.

Anil Kapoor is set to bring his charm and acting prowess to YRF’s Spy Universe by signing a multi-film contract, a source informed Pinkvilla. The actor is said to head R&AW (Research and Operations Wing) in the suspense thriller movies. The source added, “Anil Kapoor is bowled over by the vision of Aditya Chopra for the Spy Universe and took no time to sign the dotted lines for the part. He begins his affiliation with an appearance in War 2 starring Hrithik Roshan, NTR Jr, and Kiara Advani in the lead. This will be followed by the Alia Bhatt and Sharvari starrer Alpha and finally lead to the Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone film, Pathaan 2.”

With the multi-film deal, Anil Kapoor will be constant in all spy films movies playing the role of R&AW head. Following the Tiger series, War and Pathaan currently the highly anticipated movie under the category is Tiger vs Pathaan which will see a face-off between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Their union in Pathaan for a short scene was a hit highly loved by the audience. 

Of all the upcoming movies under YRF’s Spy Universe, next in the pipeline are War 2, and Alpha. Pathaan 2 is also most awaited but right now it is in the writing stage and other updates of it have been kept under wraps. War 2 stars Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR catering to a mass audience across the nation. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh’s Alpha directed by Shiv Rawail is the first female-led spy flick.
