Studio Green's highly anticipated film Kanguva, starring Suriya, has already garnered immense excitement among fans, and now, the makers have officially announced its sequel, Kanguva 2." The recently released teaser has given audiences a glimpse into the thrilling world of the film, heightening the anticipation.

In a recent interview, Producer K.E. Gnanavel Raja revealed that Kanguva will be a two-part film. He shared that the upcoming film will set the stage for its sequel, with an exciting twist in the climax that will leave audiences eagerly awaiting the next installment. Raja also mentioned that the schedule for the second part has been charted, with shooting expected to begin by the end of 2025.

Currently in the scripting stage, Kanguva 2 is slated to complete filming in 2026. However, unlike other films, this sequel will take some time before hitting cinemas. Raja indicated that Kanguva Part 2 is expected to be released in the first half of 2027, either in January or around the summer holidays in April.

Following the teaser's success, fans are eagerly awaiting the trailer. Kanguva is expected to be an action entertainer spanning generations, marking the 39th film of Tamil superstar Suriya as the lead. Suriya will be seen in different avatars, and the film will also mark the Tamil debuts of Bobby Deol and Disha Patani. The ensemble supporting cast includes Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, K.S. Ravikumar, and B.S. Avinash.
