Sonakshi Sinha tied the knot with her long time boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal in an intimate wedding ceremony on June 23 and the visuals of the same have been all over the internet. The event was graced by the biggest celebrities of the industry and the bride and groom looked perfect together. 

Now, the friend of the actress, Saqib Saleem, who also attended the wedding spoke about the same sharing that Sonakshi was the ‘happiest bride’ according to  him. He said, "I feel like she was one of the happiest brides
I've come across in my life. And just to be part of their most important day because both of them are very dear friends of mine. And just to be part of their celebration and how there was so much warmth and love for them. That was enough. It was a very lovely, very  simple wedding. “

Sonakshi and Zaheer dated for seven years before tying the knot. The duo also worked together in the film ‘Double XL’ alongside Huma Qureshi. The film released in 2022. 

Sonakshi had back to back releases this year beginning with ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ alongside Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff followed by her role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s debut web series directed ‘Heeramandi:  The Diamond Bazaar’ alongside Manisha Koirala, Richa Chadha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal and Sanjeeda Sheikh in the lead. Her latest project has become ‘Kakuda’ where she stars alongside Riteish Deshmukh.
