The much-anticipated wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant is finally here. The celebrations kicked off today with the Shubh Vivah, an intimate ceremony attended by numerous celebrities, politicians, and business tycoons. Among the notable arrivals were Dulhe ke dost Meezan Jafri and Veer Pahariya, who added a touch of fun to the festivities. Actress Ananya Panday also graced the occasion.
Ananya Panday dazzled in an all-yellow outfit and a sleek bun adorned with Anant’s brigade embroidery, looking radiant as she arrived for the wedding. Meezan Jafri, part of the groom’s squad, turned heads in a shimmery red kurta and beige pants paired with cool shades. Veer Pahariya followed suit with a similar look. Khushi Kapoor also made a stunning appearance in a green lehenga, matching Ananya as a member of Anant’s brigade.
Following today’s Shubh Vivah, the celebrations will continue with the Shubh Aashirwad ceremony on July 13th, where blessings will be sought for the newlyweds. The festivities will culminate on Sunday, July 14th, with the vibrant Mangal Utsav, also known as the wedding reception. All events are set to take place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai’s bustling business district.
The lead-up to the wedding has been marked by a series of extravagant pre-wedding events, including celebrations in Jamnagar and a Mediterranean cruise tour. The Ambani family also hosted a mass wedding for 50 underprivileged couples. Radhika’s Mameru ceremony took place on July 3rd, followed by an intimate Garba night on July 4th and a lively sangeet night on July 5th. The pre-wedding festivities concluded with the Grah Shanti Puja on July 7th, and the Haldi and Mehendi ceremonies.
