Housefull franchise termed as the most comedy film series is set for another installment to the film. Housefull 5 is a much anticipated upcoming movie hailing from the franchise which has four successful releases. As we look forward to Housefull 5 reports have it that Sanjay Dutt will join the ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, and others. This comes as a treat to watch for fans who have been eagerly waiting for the film. 

Housefull 1 was released in 2010 which was later followed by sequels in 2012, 2016 and the last one in 2019. The makers announced Sanjay’s addition on Saturday through their social media. The production banner dropped a picture of the actor with the producer Sajid Nadiadwala and welcomed the talented actor in the star-studded addition. 

‘Housefull 5’ is slated to release in the month of June next year and the production of the film will reportedly begin in August this year. It is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandsons and more details about the cast and the plot of the film are yet to be revealed by the makers. It will be directed by Tarun Mansukhani, who has helmed ‘Dostana’ before. The announcement of the film was made last year and the fans have been anticipating for further updates since then. The film was previously slated to release during Diwali this year but has been postponed.

Sanjay has been a part of the industry for decades and has featured in numerous projects throughout the years. He has starred in the films like ‘Khal Nayak’, ‘Bhuj’ and his upcoming project involves the film alongside Raveena Tandon, Parth Santhaan and Khushali Kumar whose release date is yet to be announced. Despite often getting into controversies before, the actor has managed to establish a massive fan base and audiences keep waiting for his projects to hit the screens.
