Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant tied the knot on July 12th in a grand celebration attended by notable personalities from around the globe. While many celebrities graced the event in person, veteran actor turned politician Shatrughan Sinha took to social media to extend his warm wishes to Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani for their son's wedding.
On July 15th, Shatrughan Sinha shared a series of pictures from the wedding festivities on his X (formerly Twitter) handle. In a heartfelt note, he expressed his congratulations and admiration for the Ambani family. "It has been a month of 'events' with #Sonakshi & Zaheer's 'Wedding of the Century' followed up with 'The Most Talked About Wedding of The Millennium’ #AnantAmbani & #RadhikaMerchant. It was a record-making and record-breaking marriage in every sense, as the who's who from films, sports, and the social and political world were in attendance," he wrote.

He continued by praising Nita Ambani for her efforts in organizing the event. "The entire credit for this marvelous event goes to the great lady #NitaAmbani, her husband & our dear friend #MukeshAmbani, and their entire team. Due to prior commitments, I couldn't be there, but nonetheless, my 'bestest' half @PoonamSinha, my sons @LuvSinha @kusshssinha, and his beautiful wife #TarunaSinha attended all the events and enjoyed the warm hospitality of the Ambanis as always. Heartiest Congratulations to #MukeshAmbani, NitaAmbani, the lovely couple, and their entire team. #WeddingCelebrations."
The pictures he shared featured his wife Poonam Sinha, son Luv Sinha, and daughter-in-law Taruna Sinha. In one photo, Taruna posed alongside her expectant mother Deepika Padukone. Another snapshot showed the Sinha family with Mukesh Ambani. Additional photos included Poonam and Taruna posing with Varun Dhawan's mother, Laali Dhawan, and with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Rashmi Thackeray, wife of Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray.
Meanwhile, the Sinha family had just celebrated the wedding of Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter, Sonakshi Sinha, to Zaheer Iqbal on June 23rd. Days later, the Ambani family hosted another star-studded event for Anant and Radhika’s wedding. Bollywood stars such as Salman Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Janhvi Kapoor, and Sara Ali Khan were among the many celebrities who attended the festivities.
