Fawad Khan is a renowned Pakistani actor and enjoys a massive fan base in India, especially after his appearance in a few Indian films including 'Khoobsurat', 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' and 'Kapoor and Sons'. However, after the ban on Pakistani artists which was later lifted, the actor hasn't returned to the screens in India despite certain rumors mentioning that he has been approached to work in particular projects.
In a recent interview, the actor spoke about his co-stars and other colleagues from the industry of Hindi cinema and revealed that he is still in touch with many of them. He said, "I'm in touch on and off. Hamari baat ho jaati hai kabhi chat pe and on phone so I've been in touch and I have enjoyed a very good relationship with the Kapoor family and there is still a lot of love and respect even with Karan and Shakun so dostiyaan hai and then there's some producers friends jiske saath gaap shap lagi rehti hai aur then we make plans of meeting somewhere so on and off we talk, we keep in touch and we're still very cordial and still very friendly and there's no love lost."
The actor also admitted that he is eager to check Ranbir Kapoor's latest starrer 'Animal'; about which he has heard a lot. The film was directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and released last year in December also starring Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Triptii Dimri and Saloni Batra in the lead roles. Fawad and Ranbir have previously worked together in 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'.
Last month there were also reports that the actor will star in an upcoming Hindi film alongside Vaani Kapoor but there has been no confirmation of the same. Meanwhile, his latest film was 'Nayab' which was released earlier this year in January. The sports drama also starred Yumna Zaidi, Noreen Gulwani, and Javaid Sheikh in the lead roles and was directed by Umair Nasir Ali.
