Akshay Kumar starrer Sarfira is an inspiring tale of captain GR Gopinath who introduced low-cost air travel by launching Deccan Air. The biographical drama has critical acclaim along with positive word of mouth from the audience. Apart from positive reviews, the film has also impressed Bollywood celebrities who are lauding the movie. Now Dulquer Salmaan couldn’t resist praising the movie. He hailed the team claiming it is not easy to remake a film that is already a classic.
Sarfira is an official adaptation of a Tamil movie titled Soorarai Pottru starring Suriya and directed by Sudha Kongara who helmed the Hindi version. To share his review, Dulquer took to his official X (formerly Twitter) account, praising the director’s efforts. He wrote, “Reimagining a classic into another language is always so difficult ! The Telugu actor did not miss mentioning Suriya who headlined the Tamil original also played a cameo in Sarfira and produced the movie with his wife Jyothika.
