Janhvi Kapoor and Nani to team up for former’s 3rd South project? Deets Inside

Bollywood’s promising actor Janhvi Kapoor who is set for her Telugu Debut with Devara is said to extend her stint in the South Indian film industry. Walking in the footsteps of her late mother Sridevi, the actress is on a signing spree for South Indian movies. She is now alleged to join hands with Nani for the latter’s 33rd film of his career. 

Tentatively titled Nani33 promises a fresh and exciting pairing as Janhvi and Nani will share the screen for the first time. According to reports in Telgugu 360, the makers of Nani33 are contemplating casting Good Luck Jerry star. However, an official confirmation is still pending. If the reports are to be true, the movie will mark Janhvi Kapoor’s third back-to-back project down in south following Jr. NTR’s Devara and a movie with Ram Charan directed by Buchi Babu Sana. 

Nani 33 will be directed by Srikanth Odela who also directed Dasara marking his second collaboration with the actor. Janhvi's debut in the Telugu film industry has sparked great enthusiasm, and her involvement in Nani33 is sure to elevate the film's attraction even further. On the work front, making her South Indian debut, Janhvi Kapoor is starred opposite Jr. NTR in Devara which will also feature Saif Ali Khan as antagonist. She is reported to also share the screen with Ram Charan in her second regional film. She was last seen alongside Rajkummar Rao in Mr. and Mrs. Mahi. She is now gearing up for the release of Ulajh, where she plays a young and determined IAS officer. The political drama is set to hit theaters on August 2, 2024. 

Meanwhile, Nani was last featured in Hi Nanna opposite Mrunal Thakur.  The romance drama directed by debutant Shouryuv was well received by the audience. Next in line for Nani is Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, a vigilante action thriller helmed by Vivek Athreya. The film features Priyanka Mohan, S. J. Suryah, Aditi Balan, Sai Kumar, and other prominent actors in key roles.
