The divorce rumors of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have been doing rounds for a while. Although there has been no confirmation from either side and actors have avoided commenting on the same throughout, fans have been noticing the growing rift between the duo. Few days back during the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant that took place on July 12 in Mumbai, another act of the couple made fans wonder if the rumors are actually true. 

During the wedding, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek, Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Agastya Nanda and Naveli Nanda posed for a family picture together on their arrival. However, Aishwarya avoided joining the group picture and instead posed separately with her daughter Aradhya Bachchan. The same added fuel to the divorce rumors making people wonder if they are true. Following, another post from 2018 surfaced when the Bachchan family attended the wedding reception of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, during the same the actress was happily posing with her in-laws and comparing both the events fans have figured out that something is not smooth between both.

Aishwarya and Abhishek married in 2007 and welcomed their daughter, Aradhya in 2011. The speculations of their possible separation began earlier this year. On the work front, Abhishek most recently starred in ‘Ghoomer’ alongside Saiyami Kher and Angad Bedi. Directed by R. Balki, the sports-drama released in the month of August last year. Whereas Aishwarya featured in the south film ‘Ponniyin Selvan: II’ alongside Sobhita Dhulipala, Sara Arjun and Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead roles. The film released last year and was directed by Mani Ratnam. It was a sequel to the previous instalment which released in 2022 titled ‘Ponniyin Selvan: I’.
