Celebrity couple Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha finally embraced the much-awaited parenthood as they became parents to a baby girl on Thursday. Sharing the note about the same, the duo expressed their joy of welcoming their first child. It read, “We are tickled pink with joy to announce the arrival of a healthy baby girl on 16.07.24!  Our families are overjoyed and we thank our well - wishers for their love and blessings!” Love, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal.”

A few days back Richa also shared a series of pictures from her maternity shoot mentioning about the anticipation of embracing motherhood. Earlier both the actors also discussed in the interviews about the respective breaks from the work that they will be taking. Richa will resume shooting from October onwards whereas Ali will also be taking some days off now. 

On the work front, Richa most recently starred in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series directorial titled ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’. Released on May 1 on Netflix, it also starred Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal and Sanjeeda Sheikh in the lead roles. Despite having a limited screen space as the character of Richa was there just in the initial two episodes, the actress received massive praise for her performance from the audience. Her dance sequel in the series also got her much appreciation. Later, the makers also announced the sequel for the project however it not clear who all from the star cast would be reprising their roles once again in the series. Whereas, Ali starred in the much-awaited sequel ‘Mirzapur 3’. It also garnered a massive response and featured Pankaj Tripathi and Shweta Tripathi in the lead roles. It released on July 5.
