The most awaited comedy caper Bad Newz released today in theaters. Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimmri, and Ammy Virk starrer received positive responses ahead of the release projecting in a box office shot at the box office. The romantic comedy-drama is expected to make a double-digit opening on day 1. Anand Tiwari's directorial is set to join the list of well-performed movies of 2024, including Crew and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (TBMAUJ).

According to reports, Bad Newz is predicted to make an opening of 9-10 crore on its release day and close the weekend at approximately Rs 30 crore. Reportedly, Karan Johar produced film had a splendid sell of tickets in advance booking. Reportedly, the movie has made a pretty good sale of 22000 tickets out of which 18000 tickets have been booked in PVR and 4000 in Cinepolis. 

Considering the advance booking, Baad Newz could be the highest box office opener for Vicky Kaushal. The movie also marks Triptii Dimri’s first commercial film and the Bollywood debut of Punjabi star Ammy Virk. The film weaves a humorous narrative revolving around the medical phenomenon of Heteropaternal Superfecundation where a woman is pregnant with twins fathered by two men. 

Bad Newz directed by Anand Tiwari offers a hilarious ride of chaos, love, romance, emotions, and melodrama making it a full masala entertainer. It is an incredible lesson on Heteropaternal Superfecundation as a comedy caper that will leave viewers entertained and intrigued.
