Triptii Dimri’s latest project ‘Bad Newz’ has released today also featuring  Ammy Virk and Vicky Kaushal alongside her. The actors have been promoting the comedy over the last few weeks and the hype for the film was already high before it’s release. Prior to that, the song from the film ‘Tauba Tauba’ also became a viral track in no time having fans groovily to the beats all over the social media. Many went on to praise the performances of the actors in the film and the latest have been Triptii’s rumoured boyfriend Sam Merchant.

Sharing his reaction on Instagram, the businessman shared a story capturing Vicky and Triptii in the frame and wrote, "Great performance. Thoroughly entertaining." He further added ‘Uff’ alongside Triptii’s handle with a heart emoji. The actress reported the same on her story.

Triptii and Sam have been rumoured to be dating for a long time however there has been no confirmation from either side. The duo is often spotted on the outings together and even share the updates about holidaying together by tagging each other on the social media.

‘Bad Newz’ has been directed by Anand Tiwari and is produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The film also marked the first commercial project for the actress and her first collaboration with Vicky and Ammy. It follows the story of  woman (Triptii), who gets pregnant from two men Vicky and Ammy and carries twins. Amidst all this, she is determined to decide who will be a  better father of her children and both the actors compete for the same. Released on July 19, the film has been collecting positive reviews from the  audience and the advance booking of the tickets has also been high. Triptii has a pipeline of upcoming projects and has most recently been shooting for Anees Bazmee’s upcoming directorial ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ where she stars alongside Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan.
