Lalita Dsilva, known for her role as Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan's son Taimur Ali Khan's paediatric nurse, recently gained attention once again due to her presence at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding. In a candid interview with Hindustan Times, Lalita shared insights about her career and her longstanding relationship with the Ambani family.
Lalita, who has worked as a paediatric nurse for 30 years, clarified that she is not just a ‘nanny’ but a dedicated healthcare professional. She revealed that Anant Ambani was the first child she cared for, making his wedding a particularly special occasion for her. "Attending his wedding felt unbelievable," Lalita said, praising Anant as a good kid who remains the same today.
In addition to her role with Anant, Lalita has also cared for Isha and Akash Ambani. She expressed her gratitude, noting, "Despite their wealth, the Ambani family has not forgotten me. My hard work with Anant has been appreciated." Lalita highlighted her evolving relationship with Nita Ambani, referring to her as "Ma'am" after initially calling her "Nita Bhabhi."
Lalita also discussed her role in managing Taimur's public appearances, recounting the stress of dealing with paparazzi. She recalled the challenges of protecting Taimur from intrusive media, emphasizing the need for respect towards children. "I would tell the media that he is just a kid and shouldn’t be chased," she shared.
Currently, Lalita is working with Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni Konidela's daughter, and she expressed her gratitude for their support in allowing her to attend Anant’s wedding. Despite her busy schedule, she made time to attend the high-profile event, which featured performances by international stars such as Rihanna and Justin Bieber.
Lalita’s journey from caring for celebrity children to becoming a known personality herself continues to captivate public interest.
