Janhvi Kapoor is evidently dating Shikhar Pahariya although they have never confirmed it themselves. However, the actress indirectly addresses her relationship on social media and it is easy to connect the dots. Allegedly, she separated from Shikhar earlier and reunited with him again after a break. Janhvi who is gearing up for her upcoming movie Ulajh opened up about her relationship with her rumored boyfriend claiming he is the one she suffered heartbreak with.

In an interview with Hauterrfly, Janhvi Kapoor revealed why she broke up with Shikhar Pahariya when they dated previously. She said, “In the couple of years of my periods, every month I would break up with this person. The first two or three months, he would be in shock, but after that, he would be like, ‘Yes, okay,’ and after two days, I would go back to him crying and saying sorry. I wouldn’t understand why my brain was working like this. It was very extreme.”

She further added that she has experienced heartbreak only once in life and it was with Shikhar Pahariya however he returned to his life. Janhvi was quoted saying, “I have genuinely experienced heartbreak only one time in life but the same person came back and put my heart together. So, it was all good.” 

For the unversed, before starting her Bollywood career Janhvi Kapoor dated Shikhar Pahariya for years. Making her debut in Shashank Khaitan's romantic drama Dhadak she dated her first co-star Ishaan Khatter. The actor duo later broke up and Janhvi reunited with Shikhar and is currently in a relationship with him.

On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor will be next seen in the political thriller Ulajh. The movie is slated to hit theaters on August 2, 2024. Next in her pipeline is a Bollywood movie Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, and her South debut Devara: Part 1 with Jr. NTR.
