Filmmaker Shashi Ranjan has wrapped shooting the upcoming docu-series of one of the finest directors of the film industry, Rakesh Roshan. Shashi has been working on the project for a while now which is set to feature the life of Rakesh and his significance on the film industry. Now, the latest reports suggest that there will be several actors including Rekha, Shah Rukh Khan, and others.

According to Mid-day, a source close to the development informed,  “Besides featuring the family, the series includes interviews of past superstars Jeetendra and Rekha, as well as current ones including Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra. Sham Kaushal, who has served as an action director on most of Rakesh’s movies, also features in it."

Further adding, "The Roshans and the Kapoors are among the few families, spanning three generations in Bollywood. From Hrithik’s blockbuster debut with Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai [2000] to Rakesh triumphing over throat cancer, this series will put the spotlight on how they went through the highs and lows to reach where they are today.”

Rakesh is known for the films like 'Khudgarz', 'Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai' and the 'Krrish' franchise. His son Hrithik Roshan is one of the finest actors in the industry and most recently starred in 'Fighter' alongside Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. Hrithik made his debut with his father Rakesh Roshan’s directorial 'Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai' which also featured Ameesha Patel in the lead. The film was a massive success and established the actor in the industry post which he has done several projects and continues to impress the audience and will next star alongside Jr. NTR in the upcoming sequel 'War 2'. The first installment starred Hrithik with Tiger Shroff and released in 2019.
