Kill action choreographer Oh Se-Yeong describes the process of making the film

'Kill’ has been gaining massive praise from the audience ever since its release on July 5 and continues to have a strong run in the theatres. The film has made a collection of Rs 20.85 crore at the box office and the praise for it keeps pouring. In a recent interview, the action choreographer of the film, Oh Se-Yeong spoke about making the film and recalled the discussion with the filmmaker Nikhil Nagesh Bhat about certain scenes in the film.

He said, “I think the heart of taking revenge on each goon is expressed with violent action. So, I
discussed several times with director Nikhil Bhat sir on how Amrit [Lakshya] should take revenge on each goon and how we should show it on screen. Nikhil sir gave me very fresh inspiration and my job was to express it as realistically as possible. At the back of my mind, I was always concerned whether it was correct to show all the cruelty and whether the
censor board would approve the film to be released in theatres.”

Further, he recalled giving two options for filming the death scene of the lead actress in the film and suggesting shooting it in the show-mo sequence which was accepted by the director. He said, “remember having a long discussion with Nikhil sir about Tulika's death scene because her death is the turning point of the film. We also discussed the ways of designing the action and the various emotions of the characters in this sequence. For those who have experienced such moments of crisis would know, that the moment feels so long as if it's happening like a high-speed shot. I contemplated whether we should express her death directly (in real time), or whether we should show her death to the audience through Amrit's feelings. I suggested both options to the director and he gladly accepted
the latter.“

The film stars Raghav Juyal and Lakshya in the lead and has been produced under the banners of Sikhya Entertainment and Dharma Productions.
