Salman Khan shooting case update: Mumbai Court says there is enough of 'sufficient material'

The firing incident at the residence of Salman Khan that took place in the month of April came as a shock to many. The police investigation was launched soon after to catch the accused and gather all the evidence related to the shooting.

As per the latest reports, six individuals have been arrested in the same and the Mumbai Court has declared that there is a sufficient amount of evidence related to the ongoing case. The names of the accused have so far been unveiled as Vicky Kumar Gupta, Sagar Kumar Pal, Sonukumar Bishnoi, Anuj Kumar Thapan, Mohd Rafiq Choudhary and Harpal Singh. Earlier the family members of Salman including his brother Arbaaz Khan and father Salim Khan spoke about the same and also reassured that the actor is fine and is following his regular schedule. Fans have also expressed their concerns about the incident. Salman was previously warned by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who took upon the responsibility of firing. 

On the work front, Salman will next feature in 'Sikandar' alongside Rashmika Mandanna. The film is slated to release next year and will mark the first time for the actors to star together on-screen. It is directed by A.R. Murugadoss and is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his production banner Nadiadwala Grandsons. There are also reports of the actor collaborating for a music track with Sanjay Dutt and AP Dhillon, however there have been no official confirmations on the same. Prior to this, Salman starred in Maneesh Sharma's directorial 'Tiger 3'. The film released last year and featured the actor alongside Katrina Kaif. It was the third sequel to the 'Tiger' franchise and also had Emraan Hashmi portraying the antagonist of the film.
