Kartik Aaryan is one of the young actors enjoying the stardom. He leaves no stone unturned to surprise his massive fanbase and ahead of the much-awaited Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, he comes up with a new project. The talented star was recently basking in the praise of his last released Chandu Champion, a biographical drama where he essayed real-life character Murrlikant Petkar leaving everyone stunned with his stellar performance. Kartik Aaryan is now extending the franchise of Pati Patni Aur Woh signing its sequel.

Allegedly, Kartik has agreed to the sequel of the 2019 release Pati Patni Aur Woh, also starring Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday. The young superstar is returning to the romantic comedy-drama and this will bring a wave of excitement among his fans. Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 script has been already locked and the actor is ardent to reprise his role as the small-town simpleton. 

According to Bollywood Hungama, a source close to the development revealed, “Kartik loved the script of PPAW 2 and, as soon as he gave his nod, the makers decided to get this one rolling soon. Knowing the actor’s tight schedule and several films lined up, the makers have secured his dates as soon as possible. Once Kartik wraps up shooting for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, PPAW 2 will go on floors.”  

Pati Patni Aur Woh was immensely loved by the audience resulting in a blockbuster that rocked the box office. The film was helmed by Mudassar Aziz and backed by Bhushan Kumar under the banners of T-Series and B.R. Studios. The sequel Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 will also be directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Juno Chopra.

On the work front, Kartik Aaryan has Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in the pipeline. He is set to extend the horror comedy franchise alongside Triptii Dimmri and Vidya Balan. The movie is slated to hit theaters during Diwali 2024.
