Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been undergoing medical treatments this year. Earlier in May he suffered a heat stroke while watching his team Kolkata Knight Riders play an IPL match. He is again seeking urgent medical attention but for his eyes this time. Now as per the latest reports, King Khan has rushed to the U.S. for sudden eye treatment, which was earlier planned in Mumbai however, unfortunately, it didn’t take place.
After the Mumbai therapy didn’t materialize, the actor sought US treatment and is expected to fly on Tuesday, July 30 to undergo the cure soon. According to Bollywood Hungama reports, a source close to the development informed, “Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) had gone to a hospital in Mumbai on Monday, July 29 for an eye treatment. The treatment didn’t go as planned. SRK is now being rushed to the USA to rectify the damage.” The source didn’t reveal much information about the treatment that SRK is seeking and what went wrong with Mumbai's treatment.
Earlier this year, Shah Rukh Khan was rushed to the hospital in Kolkata after he suffered a heat stroke. He was in Kolkata to attend the Indian Premier League (IPL) match of his team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. He was accompanied by KKR co-owner Juhi Chawla as the team entered their fourth IPL final. The following day, Shah Rukh was hospitalized at KD Hospital in Ahmedabad because of severe dehydration.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan made a blockbuster comeback to movies after 4 years hiatus. He treated fans with three back-to-back movies - Pathan, Jawan, and Dunki. Next in the pipeline, he has King helmed by Sujoy Ghosh. He will share the screen with his daughter Suhana Khan for the first time. Abhishek Bachchan has been roped in to play an antagonist in the action thriller.
