Actors undergoing surgeries and fillers are nothing new in Bollywood. Several male and female actors have altered their faces to look appropriate for the screen or stand out. One such recent case is of Rajkummar Rao, one of his photos in which his chin appeared longer went viral on social media. His new look surprised everyone leaving netizens wondering if he underwent surgeries. The significant change was prominently evident becoming the talk of the town although he denied going through the knife. Emraan Hashmi recently commented on rumors surrounding Rajkummar Rao’s plastic surgery. 

In an interview with ScoopWhoop, Emraan Hashmi was asked why actors opt for plastic surgery. He then asked to name actors who underwent surgeries and when Rajkummar Rao’s name came he addressed it saying ‘yeah’. He continued, "It is a reality. I mean, the cosmetic business. Not just in the industry but it's a thing that they marketed pretty well. Everyone wants to look like that poster boy or girl and there's become this identity of what beauty is, right? And you want to mold yourself to that because that's what gets the love and you feel good about yourself. Coming to cosmetic surgery, I haven't gotten any, if you're thinking."

Earlier, Rajkummar Rao himself addressed the talk about his plastic surgery denying the news. Speaking to PTI he said, "I've not gone under the knife. I have not done any kind of plastic surgery. That picture, if you see it again, how is it possible in 14 years, there's one picture and no other picture like that? I feel it's certainly a touched-up picture because my skin is looking so flawless. Even I was amazed how it's so flawless without any makeup and after shooting the whole day."

On the work front, Emraan Hashmi was last seen in Showtime, also starring Rajeev Khandelwal and backed by Karan Johar. Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao is gearing up for the much-awaited horror comedy Stree 2 slated to release on August 15, 2024.
