Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya are gearing up for their next film together. The iconic duo, known for their successful collaboration starting with Maine Pyar Kiya In 1989, I started working on a new project. While there was speculation about the film being titled Prem Ki Shaadi, it's now confirmed that this is not the final title.

Bollywood Hungama reports that the script for the film has been finalised, though the title is still under discussion. A source close to the project revealed, "Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya have been searching for a script they both liked for nine years. They have finally found one that they both agree on. Earlier, one liked a script while the other did not."

The news of their reunion first emerged in March 2023. According to Pinkvilla, Sooraj Barjatya's upcoming film will delve into themes of love within nuclear families, making it one of his most special projects to date.

Salman and Sooraj’s past collaborations include blockbuster family dramas such as Hum Saath-Saath Hain (1999), and their last film together, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015), continued their tradition of emotional and family-oriented storytelling. Known for his focus on traditional values, Sooraj Barjatya’s films are celebrated for their moral lessons, while Salman Khan’s performances add depth and charisma.

With their successful track record and high anticipation, their new project is expected to make a significant impact. Shooting for the film is scheduled to start in 2025.
