Vedaa trailer: John Abraham and Sharvari on a mission to challenge the status quo

Finally the wait is over as the much-awaited trailer of Vedaa starring John Abraham and Sharvari is out now. Weeks ahead of the release the censor board certification was awaited and after receiving the U/A certificate, the makers dropped the trailer 15 days ahead of the release. The trailer is gripping featuring John as a former soldier and Sharvari as a village girl who has the fire to fight against classism.

The upcoming action-packed drama is a powerful story of resilience and the indomitable human spirit. The trailer promises an adrenaline-pumping experience, filled with high-octane action sequences and emotionally charged moments. The story revolves around a woman named Vedaa who dares to challenge the status quo. Her fight for justice is fuelled by the unwavering support of a former soldier who becomes her shield and her weapon. 

Vedaa, an action thriller directed by Nikkhil Advani, is bankrolled by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment, and JA Entertainment. John Abraham is popular for delivering action-packed roles and returns to offer another high-octane performance. Talking about Vedaa, he said, “I am excited to be part of a film like ‘Vedaa’. It’s a story that will resonate with audiences and inspire them to stand up for what is right.”

Nikkhil Advani who marks 10th film with Vedaa said, “I feel very strongly about presenting a film that entertains but also delivers a message, provokes a thought that stays with its audience for a long time after the film ends. I hope Vedaa is that film.”

Apart from John Abraham and Sharvari the film also features Abhishek Banerjee in a pivotal role. Directed by Nikkhil Advani and written by Aseem Arrora, ‘Vedaa’ is produced by Zee Studios, Umesh Kr Bansal, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, John Abraham, and co-produced by Minnakshi Das. Presented by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment, and JA Entertainment, an Emmay Entertainment production, ‘Vedaa’ is set to release in cinemas on August 15, 2024.
