Vedaa headlined by John Abraham and Sharvari is an action thriller slated to release on August 15, 2024. The film follows the social story of a Dalit girl who dares to fight for her rights in this unfair world. Her war against discrimination is fueled by a former soldier who trains and supports her in the battle. Fans have been garnering praise for the film since the trailer released. While everyone is waiting for Vedaa, Tamannaah Bhatia who is also among the cast request people to not drudge the film by its cover assuring it is more than just an action film.

Taking to twitter, Tamannaah Bhatia penned a heartfelt long note. She wrote, Don't judge Vedaa by its cover - Trust me when I say, it's more than just an action film! My friend @TheJohnAbraham , one of the nation’s favorite action heroes is bringing his incredible influence to a genre he's totally mastered. This time, he's telling a different kind of story through action, showing just how deeply this genre can convey meaningful cinematic experiences today.”

She further added, “What's even more exciting, personally to me, is that Nikhil Advani is returning to the director's chair after 6 or 7 years, which adds yet another layer of anticipation to our film. I can’t miss on mentioning #Sharvari  here and how I just can’t wait for y’all to see her kill it on the big screen yet again!”

Reflecting on her role in the movie she said her part is modest. She wrote, “Although my contribution to the film is modest, I'm genuinely soo excited about its release and to have partnered with John, Nikhil sir, Sharvari, Abhishekh Banerjee, and the entire crew of Vedaa. Our film promises to bring a fresh perspective to action films in our country, and I feel everyone would love to experience this new story on the big screen”

She concluded with, “For now, sharing this trailer with you all, but puri picture zarur dekhna 15 August ko!” Vedaa releasing on Independence Day will clash with Stree 2 which has a special dance number Aaj Ki Raat featuring Tamannaah Bhatia in a sizzling look. Both films will release on the same day as Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein.
