After the success of Housefull 4, producer Sajid Nadiadwala joins hands with Akshay Kumar once again for the long-awaited Housefull 5 to be directed by Tarun Mansukhani. Akshay Kumar and Fardeen Khan will share space after a long time of 17 years since Heyy Babyy. Housefull 5 is on the gun, and full-fledged pre-production work is underway for a start-to-finish schedule commencing late August. It will be shot in London and on an actual cruise.

Nadiadwala has already confirmed a star-studded cast including Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, and Nana Patekar alongside Akshay Kumar. However, casting is still in the process. Fardeen Khan, according to sources in Pinkvilla, has been roped in to essay a pivotal role in the film.

According to Pinkvilla sources, Fardeen Khan has also been roped in to play a key role in the film. “After Heyy Babyy, the trio of Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, and Sajid Nadiadwala is coming together for Housefull 5. Fardeen is excited to work with Akshay again after their upcoming release, Khel Khel Mein,” revealed a source close to the development.

The female lead casting is yet to be done, and the makers are looking to have top mainstream actresses on board this comic caper. Housefull 5 is going to be a refreshing take for the franchise since its storyline is set around a cruise ship. “It’s a comic thriller, where one episode brings the house down inside a cruise. The idea is to introduce a new flavor of comedy with Housefull 5,” the source added.

Filming for Housefull 5 will start in August 2024 and go on till November 2024. The movie will hit the theaters on June 6, 2025. Before he begins work on Housefull 5, Akshay Kumar will complete a 20-day schedule of Welcome To The Jungle in Mumbai and Kashmir.
