Sunny Deol’s Lahore 1947 to have an extensive train sequence, Deets Inside

The actor known to deliver spectacular war drama will extend his legacy with Lahore 1947 which is billed as a mega project. The highly anticipated upcoming film brings together a dream team of formidable forces Sunny, Rajkumar Santoshi, and Aamir Khan collaborating for the first time. Aamir Khan Productions' project Lahore 1947 is in the last leg of filming and currently shooting a crucial sequence. The scene will feature the lead character taking a train journey between India and Pakistan during the partition time. This is reported to be the end scene and it will take weeks and a huge team to shoot. It aims to be a visual spectacle with a fresh cinematic experience.

The story is set back in the partition era around a Muslim family moving from Lucknow, India to Pakistan. They are provided with accommodation in a haveli vacated by a Hindu family, however, tension arises when they discover that an elderly Hindu woman is still residing in the Haveli. Apart from Sunny Deol, the film also stars Preity Zinta in leading roles. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi it will be produced by Aamir Khan Productions.
