Tripti Dimri's debut film 'Laila Majnu', directed by Sajid Ali, is all set to re-release in theaters across the world on August 9, 2024. Although the film did not perform well at the box office in 2018, it later received a lot of praise. The film is winning the hearts of the audience after its OTT release.

Script writer Imtiaz Ali has shared his excitement and wrote, 'Laila Majnu is coming back on much demand!!! Thanks to your love that brought it back to theaters after six years!! It is being re-released in theaters across the country on 9 August 24. Congratulations to Team LM.' He also shared the list of theaters where the film will be re-released.

Talking about the overwhelming response of the audience upon its re-release in Srinagar, the film's lead actor Avinash Tiwari said, “For the first time after its release, today our film Laila Majnu remained housefull in Srinagar. He said that the Kashmiri people have given love and support for which we are grateful to them. Vikas Dhar, owner of INOX Srinagar, was very excited while talking about the performance of Laila Majnu. He said, “We started with one show each on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. All three of them were housefull.
