The buzz around Stree 2 is high with 7 days left for the scheduled release on August 15, 2024. The film promises double horror, fun, and laughter bringing back the original star cast. As the film extends its franchise in Maddock Films' supernatural horror universe, the second chapter has a different story built on the base of the first one. The storyline and concept are different compared to the first installment which was a blockbuster hit. Stree 2 guarantees to be bigger, scarier, and funnier than its predecessor with the evolution of the iconic character.

‘Oh Stree Kal Aana’ quickly turned to ‘Oh Stree Raksha Karna’ when Chanderi Village is affected by a new demon Sarkata. Stree who terrorized the people of Chanderi Village by abducting men in the night has made a return. She is making a comeback with more power and interestingly her fear is no more affecting the villagers. In the first installment, with Rajkummar Rao leading the mission, Bikki gang took charge to set the village free of Stree. Similarly, in the sequel they aim to fight with a new monster Sarkata who has terrorized the townies. 

Stree return marks a positive fortune in the story as she will fight against the Sarkata. After the villagers realized her value they respected her and now she stands in support of them to battle out new threat. The character shift in the story with new dynamics will interest and engage the audience. 

Stree 2 slated to release on August 15, 2024, will lock horns with Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s Vedaa at the box office. Despite a clash with big releases, Stree guarantees to deliver another blockbuster hit with a unique storyline, engaging plot, and comic timings. Starring Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Abhishek Banerjee the film is one of the most awaited projects of 2024.
