As anticipation builds for Suriya's upcoming fantasy thriller Kanguva makers have announced the trailer launch date. It features a dramatic new look of the star. Scheduled for theatrical release on October 10, Kanguva has already generated significant buzz. This is due to its intriguing glimpses and impressive cast.

Studio Green the film’s production house, revealed the trailer release date on X. They also shared a striking poster. It showcases Suriya in a period-style costume. There is a dramatic wing-like backdrop. The trailer is set to drop on August 12. This was announced in their caption: “The anticipation ends now! The time for glory is arriving, get ready for a celebration like no other. The grand #KanguvaTrailer is all set to be yours from 12 August.”

Kanguva boasts an ensemble cast including Bollywood stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani. It stars popular artists like Yogi Babu and Jagapathi Babu. Notably, Suriya will play seven distinct parts in the movie.

Suriya is excited about the debut of his second movie, Suriya 44, tentatively named, in addition to Kanguva. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj film is slated for a September 2025 release.

Recently Suriya 44's producer Rajasekhar provided update on the actor’s minor accident during an action sequence. Suriya sustained a minor head injury. He received prompt medical attention. He has since recovered fully.
