Boman Irani expresses gratitude towards Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 idiots as he revisits IIM Bangalore

3 Idiots directed by Rajkumar Hirani is a cinematic masterpiece that left an indelible mark on the audience. In Indian cinema, the movie offered some incredible and remarkable characters like Virus and Rancho. The unforgettable character Dr. Viru Sahastrabuddhe aka Virus brought to life by Boman Irani was etched into the hearts of viewers. It holds a special place in Irani’s own heart as well revealed the actor himself as he revisited IIM Bangalore. 

Boman Irani reflected on 3idiots memories as he visited IIM Bangalore campus where most of 3 idiots was shot. During his visit, he became nostalgic recollecting the memories from nearly 15 years ago. He penned an emotional note on social media sharing a still from 3 idiots and a current picture of him standing on the same stage. The caption read, "15 years ago, I stood on this very stage at IIM Bangalore, bringing 'Virus' to life in #3Idiots. Today, I return, overwhelmed by the love and support that continues to pour in. 3 Idiots is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s novel Five Point Someone and follows the story of three engineering students Rancho, Raju and Farhan portrayed by Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi, and R Madhavan respectively. 

On the work front, Boman Irani was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s latest film Dunki alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, and Vicky Kaushal.
