Ahead of Call Me Bae trailer release: Meet Bae Ananya Panday’s tribe

Prime Video’s upcoming original series Call Me Bae has been one of the most anticipated series of the year. With Ananya Panday headlining the series as Bella “Bae” Chowdhary, the hype for the actor’s long format streaming debut is at an all-time high! While it has been revealed that the series is the story of Bae, who upon being downsized from heiress to hustler, discovers that her most valuable assets aren’t her diamonds, but her street smarts and style. But now, with the trailer dropping tomorrow, on August 20, it’s time to meet Bae’s tribe and know more about her Behens, Beaus and Boss – who bring the much-needed comfort, chicness and chaos to her life! 

Meet Saira and Tammarrah – Bae’s BFFs, her ride-or-die Behens!

Saira, played by Muskkaan Jaferi, is a confident and young girl who becomes Bae's very first friend in her strange new life, helping her navigate the big city solo. 
Niharika Lyra Dutt plays the workaholic and perfectionist, Tamarrah, a budding journalist who befriends Bae at her first big-girl job.

Prince: Trainer, Techie and an all-round solid guy!

Varun Sood plays the super-fit, Prince, Bae's ex-trainer. However, underneath his tough gym-bro exterior, however, is a sweet, techie geek who is always ready to help Bae!

Meet Neel – Bae’s Mentor and may be some more?

Gurfateh Pirzada plays Neel, a sincere, but anxious senior journalist who become Bae’s mentor and friend, helping her step out of her comfort zone and realising her true abilities

Played by Vihaan Samat, Agastya Chowdhary is the billionaire heartthrob born into the Chowdhary clan. He was everyone's top pick for a son-in-law until he fell for Bae! The question is, will they live happily ever after?

Satyajit Sen: Bae’s Boss
Vir Das plays the menacing Satyajit Sen, a pompous, talented powerhouse, who is the country’s top news anchor. Quite set in his conventional ways, Satyajit finds himself at loggerheads with Bae as she constantly challenges his beliefs.

Headlined by Ananya Panday, Call Me Bae also features Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur in pivotal roles. The series is written by Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair, and directed by Collin D’Cunha. This 8-part series will premiere globally in India and across 240 countries and territories on September 6, exclusively on Prime Video.
