Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan stepped into the film industry as an assistant director to Karan Johar for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani. Following that he is bracing to make a career in acting and has Kajol’s Sarzameen and Diler in hand. Diler touted to be a sports drama was scheduled for a shoot in the United Kingdom but in a sudden twist of filming plans the makers have decided to call off the international shoot. The filming plans of the particular project has taken a sudden u-turn due to growing unrest in UK.

Dinesh Vijan who is producing Diler decided to pull off the London shoot schedule. According to reports, the production team is now on a hunt for a location in Mumbai that can resemble the UK backdrop. The team is finding a substitute setting in India after they decided to drop UK schedule to ensure the safety of the cast and crew.

A source close to the development of Diler said, “In July-end, the team did recce and look tests in London. Kunal had lined up a straight schedule during which significant portions of the film would have been canned. But after the situation worsened, the makers felt it would be very expensive to hire exhaustive security.”

The source further added, “For the producer his unit’s safety is priority. So, he scrapped the London leg and instructed his team to consider domestic locations. The director intends to kick off the latest leg in the first week of September.”

Diler is said to be a story centered around a marathoner and Ibrahim Ali Khan will play a titular role. Information about the cast and other details of the project has been kept under wraps. This will be Ibrahim’s second project after Sarzameen where he will share the screen with Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
