Akshay Kumar is currently riding high on the positive reviews of his latest release Khel Khel Mein. Not just that, he has also garnered fans' attention for a cameo in Stree 2. Moviegoers who recently watched Shraddha Kapoor’s horror flick have been lauding Mr. Kumar for a brief yet notable role in the movie. The actor, who played a special role in Maddock Films fifth installment of the supernatural horror universe, long back featured in a horror comedy film when the genre was not familiar to the audience. He starred in Bhool Bhulaiyaa but the film series was extended by Kartik Aaryan however there have been reports that Kumar will feature in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

This sparked a wave of excitement among the fans who have been eagerly waiting for the third installment of Bhool Bhulaiyaa. People were joyous to see a collaboration between Akshay Kumar from Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Kartik Aaryan from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. According to Hindustan Times, the actor has rubbished the rumours of him joining Kartik Aaryan in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 extending the film franchise he started in 2007. As per the publication, when asked about a special cameo, the actor said, “No, absolutely not. It's fake news.”

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will be headlined by Kartik Aaryan after receiving immense love for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 which turned out to be a successful blockbuster hit. The third installment will also star Triptii Dimri and bring back the OG Manjulika Vidya Balan. The first Bhool Bhoolaiyaa was directed by Priyadarshan but for the second installment the directorial baton was carried ahead by Anees Bazmee who helmed the second part and will also extend the horror comedy film series. Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is expected to hit theaters during the Diwali festivity on October 31, 2024.
