Sara Ali Khan praises Ananya Panday’s performance in Call Me Bae trailer, shares excitement for the show

Sara Ali Khan, a Bollywood sensation, recently took to social media to commend Ananya Panday’s performance in the much-awaited series Call Me Bae. The trailer for the show was released on August 21 and both fans and Sara have been buzzing about it. In a sweet gesture Sara shared her thoughts on Instagram, expressing her enthusiasm for the series and applauding her friends role in the show.

“@collindcunha I cannot wait for everyone to have a binge-worthy blast all thanks to you! Too much fun. @ananyapanday genuinely love you in this @dharmaticent @karanjohar,” Sara wrote on her Instagram Stories, offering support for the series.

Call Me Bae, brought to you by Dharmatic Entertainment tells the tale of a South Delhi heiress, played by Ananya Panday whose life takes a turn when her family faces a setback. Moving to Mumbai she encounters obstacles in her new life such as adjusting to a modest apartment and figuring out public transport. The show showcases her strength as she secures a position at a newsroom led by a no nonsense editor portrayed by Vir Das.

The upcoming series Call Me Bae is helmed by director Collin D’Cunha and produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra. This 8-episode show boasts a star-studded cast featuring Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood and Mini Mathur. Fans can catch the premiere of Call Me Bae on Amazon Prime Video on September 6.

In addition to making her OTT debut Ananya Panday is also featuring in Vikramaditya Motwane’s CTRL which will be available on Netflix starting October 4. On the hand Sara Ali Khan is gearing up for her role in Anurag Basus Metro…In Dino set to be released in cinemas on November 2.
