Bollywood's Shahrukh Khan and Manisha Koirala directed film 'Dil Se' has ended after 26 years. This film was made by famous cinema director Mani Ratnam. We all liked this film very much. Recently, Manisha Koirala talked about her co-star Shah Rukh Khan and also why the two didn't get much screen space after 'Dil Se'.
In an interview on Zoom channel, Manisha Koirala said that after Dil Se, she worked with Shahrukh in Dil Se but no one knows much about it. Manisha said that there is no clear answer as to why the two did not share the screen later and only Shahrukh Khan should be questioned about this.
'Dil Se' directed by Mani Ratnam was very much liked by the fans. It is one of the milestones in the history of Bollywood cinema. The acting of Shahrukh Khan and Manisha Koirala in this film was highly appreciated. Manisha Koirala further said, 'In this industry it is the heroes who decide with whom they will work and with whom they will not.' She also revealed that he has "Dil Se" along with Mani Ratnam's "Bombay" and "Hummusi" and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Heera Mandi" is one of his best films.
Although the film was well received by critics, it did not perform well at the box office upon its release. Mani Ratnam said that the reason for his disappointing performance could be his lack of command over Hindi. Mani Ratnam also said that during the shooting of the film he had to rely heavily on the actors for the scenes. Let us tell you that Dil Se was released on 21 August 1998. Preity Zinta also played the lead role in this film along with Manisha Koirala and Shahrukh Khan. Ir Rahman's music has also been liked in this film.
