Famous Bollywood actress Saira Banu is celebrating her 80th birthday today. On this occasion, she remembered the most precious gift she received from the late actor and her husband Dilip Kumar. He said it was a compliment he gave her that changed his life forever. The actress said in a conversation, 'The most precious gift I have ever received is a heartfelt compliment from Dilip Kumar, which changed my life forever.'

Saira Banu recalled, 'One evening Dilip Kumar came to me. He held my hand and said, 'Hey, you have grown up and become very beautiful.' Time stopped just here. I didn't know that this was the beginning of our beautiful love story. “Growing up, birthdays were always special,” he said. The credit for this goes to the guidance of my grandmother Shamshad Waheed Khan, my loving mother, fairy face Naseem Banuji and my elder brother Sultan. I got a lot of love and support from him. I will always be grateful for his blessings and values that made me the person I am today.

Recalling her birthday celebration in 1966, Saira Banu said, 'On August 23, 1966, I celebrated my birthday and performed the Griha Pravesh of my new house, which was carefully chosen. It was built near Dilip Sahab's house. Out of many options, we chose this place to be close to him, which unknowingly opened the way for our future. The actress said, 'His words created a bond that will last a lifetime.'

The actress further said, 'I have been fortunate to experience many aspects of him, from his fan to his wife. His simplicity and kindness touched my heart in ways I never thought possible. She is missing her husband on his 80th birthday on Friday. He said that today on his 80th birthday he is remembering Dilip Kumar.
