Director Nag Ashwin addresses Arshad Warsi's comments on 'Prabhas' advocates unity over controversy

Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi recently talked about the film 'Kalki 2898 AD' directed by Nag Ashwin. During this, he said that Prabhas was looking like Joker in this film, after which a controversy has arisen. In this matter, Arshad has been trolled by Prabhas' fans and also by the stars of South Industry. This controversy is not stopping now, which has now become not Prabhas vs Arshad, but South vs Bollywood.

Natural star Nani, who came in support of Pan India star Prabhas after Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi's joker comment, was also trolled by the audience, after which he withdrew his statement. This entire matter has given rise to the North vs South debate on social media, with constant trolling and derogatory tweets being made from both sides. Now finally the film's director Nag Ashwin has broken his silence on this.

Kalki 2898 AD director Nag Ashwin has now responded to this controversy in an intelligent and eloquent manner. He wrote in his social media post, “Let's not go back, no more North-South or Bollywood vs Tolly, our eyes are on the bigger picture, united Indian film industry, Arshad Sahab should have chosen his words better, But it's okay, sending Bujji's toys to his children, I will work hard, so tweeting that Prabhas may be the best ever in Kalki 2.”

Nag Ashwin's reaction was very dignified, he neither spoke ill of Bollywood nor jumped into the controversy. The director did not speak ill of Arshad Warsi for the remake. Instead, Nag Ashwin said that he will send toys to the children of Hindi actors, which is very sweet of him. A fan told the director that North's audience is spreading too much venom, to which Nag Ashwin replied, “There is already too much hatred in the world brother, we can't try to increase it any more, I know. I hope Prabhas garu will also feel the same.”

While discussing 'Kalki 2898 AD' in a podcast, Arshad had said why Prabhas was like a joker in the film. Since then, controversy has arisen on social media. Director Ajay Bhupathi and many stars like Sudheer Babu, Nani and Dil Raju also criticised him for his comments. Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone were also seen along with Prabhas in 'Kalki 2898 AD'.
