Race is a popular film series in Bollywood. After the rage of Race and Race 2, the third installment starring Salman Khan was a disastrous flop. However, after 6 years producer Ramesh Turani is rebooting the franchise, and Saif Ali Khan is set to return to the series. Race 4 is finally happening with the team currently working on locking the script. The makers have brought Saif Ali Khan back on the board and along with him Siddharth Malhotra is said to join the cast.

Race 4 is slated to go on floors in the first half of next year 2025. Saif Ali Khan will be making a grand comeback to the franchise after he went off the board from Race 3. The first two installments were headlined by the Pataudi Nawad and grabbed the audience's attention. Reports are now rife that producer Ramesh Turani is in advance talks with Siddharth Malhotra to join the fourth installment of the famous film series. As per sources, the Shershaah actor has expressed interest in being a part of Race 4.

According to Pinkvilla reports, “While Ramesh Taurani has got a team of in-house writers to develop the basic plot of Race 4, he has outsourced it to some of the seasoned writers and directors to develop it into a screenplay. While the writing work is on, he has initiated conversations with Sidharth Malhotra to play the leading man of Race 4 alongside Saif Ali Khan. Sid is a big fan of Race Franchise and is interested in doing the film.”

A source close to the development added, “Staying true to the world of this franchise, the Race franchise is getting a reboot with a face-off between Saif and Sid. It’s a pure two-hero film, with both the characters having shades of grey.”

Saif Ali Khan and Siddharth Malhotra’s collaboration promises a thriling exprience extending the Race franchise. However, both actors are reported to sign the film officially after the final script narration which may happen around November 2024.
