Anil Kapoor has been acing every genre, but there was a phase where he was highly popular for family dramas. One of such iconic films is ‘Humara Dil Aapke Paas Hai’, which completed 24 years of its release recently. The film saw him share the screen space with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, after their iconic on-screen jodi in ‘Taal’. What attracted the audiences to the theatres wasn’t only their hit pairing but also the roles that they had to play. Kapoor lit up the silver screen with his acting prowess, and his chemistry with Aishwarya was also celebrated amongst the audiences.

The megastar’s dedication towards the film was lauded by his co-actor and child artist Isha Talwar. Previously in an interview, Talwar recalled an instance from the sets of ‘Humara Dil Aapke Paas Hai’. She had shared that Kapoor wanted 45 takes for filming a violent shot which required him to scream, leaving Talwar in awe of his dedication. The film, headlined by Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai, has stood the test of time, and it continues to resonate with the audiences even today.

Currently, Anil Kapoor is gearing up to star in his next project ‘Subedaar’, which marks his first collaboration with director Suresh Triveni. The cinema icon is also rumoured to be a part of the YRF Spy Universe as a RAW agent.
